Chef Tim Mullen
Chef Tim Mullen
Originally from the Jersey Shore, Tim Mullen had his first job at a local hotel, where he discovered his passion for culinary arts and attention to detail. From this first spark of inspiration, Chef Tim went on to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, and afterwards, served as Sous Chef at the celebrated Escoffier Room. 

Relocating to Baltimore, Chef Tim joined the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel (a Marriott brand) as Executive Chef in 1995. Only five years later in 2000, he received the Chef of the Year award from the Renaissance Hotels (a Marriott brand). In June 2004, he joined the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, where he has made great strides within the company and at the Grille 700 restaurant.  

Chef Tim strives to use local ingredients with a regional flare, giving our menu Baltimore charm with a twist. Tim’s creativity and attention to detail allows him to always remain on top of the current trends and yet stay true to established culinary traditions. The result? Food you won’t ever forget.
