For Stephanie Simmons, Senior Catering Sales Manager at the Hartford Marriott Downtown, fine food and event planning is in her blood. Having been a part of her family-owned restaurant and banquet facility since she was seven, she now brings her love of planning social events and weddings to the Hartford Marriott. How good is she at what she does? Not only did she organize Hebrew Home and Hospital’s event honoring President Bill Clinton in 2002 and Barbara Walters in 2003, she was also honored by the Avon Chamber of Commerce for her role in planning the Town of Avon’s 175th Anniversary celebration.
