I want to take a moment to thank you for all your help with Katie’s wedding. Working with you and all your staff was a real pleasure, and the reception went so smoothly. Claudia and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your help in coordinating the Mescher Reception. The food and drinks were fabulous and the room was spectacular due to your suggestion of using Entertainment Unlimited for decor. It was everything we had hoped for and envisioned. Your recommendations on floral arrangements from Furst Florist, The Cakery and especially your suggestion to use David Lesko for our photography were splendid! The Marriott can be proud in suggesting such professionals. The decorations from Entertainment Unlimited were just as promised and even more impressive than Claudia and I had envisioned. Once again Marilyn and I wanted to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the wonderful efforts by you and the Marriott staff that made our daughter Emily’s wedding reception such a success. We had attended other wedding receptions at the Dayton Marriott in the past and had also had the Marriott recommended to us by friends. Our hopes and expectations in selecting the Marriott were more than satisfied. Your work in assisting Emily and Marilyn in selection of times, dates, food and beverage selection, flowers, table and room decoration and gentle presentation of options for florists, musicians and photographers were extremely helpful and your always calm demeanor and unruffled presence were most instrumental in weaving together all of the occasionally disparate threads of the event into a most coordinated and successful occasion. The evening flowed without a hitch, the Marriott wait staff were incredibly attentive and professional and whenever a question arose, you were always there (in the background but consistently available) with a smile and quick resolution. We received many compliments from our guests that “this was the best wedding they ever attended” and (even at the risk of sounding like proud and doting parents) can enthusiastically say – “Absolutely!” We appreciate everything you did for our family and can enthusiastically recommend you and the Dayton Marriott to others as they prepare for their special day.
