John Kieran Savage
Executive Chef
A native of Cork, Ireland and a graduate of the Rockwell Hotel & Catering College, John Kieran Savage currently holds the position of Executive Chef at The Dearborn Inn. Chef Savage began his career with Marriott in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia as International Culinary Trainee and has also served as Demi Chef, Sous Chef and Food Production Manager at various other Marriott locations including London, UK; Warsaw, Poland; Bremen, Germany; San Diego, California; Chicago, Illinois; and Dayton, Ohio. The uniqueness of The Dearborn Inn is what attracted him to the hotel, where he has been since June 2000. While Chef Savage is passionate about cooking, he likes to keep simple food simple. Italian cuisine is his favorite to prepare. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and a certified Chef de Cuisine.
Aaron Marinier
Banquet Chef
A 1996 graduate of the George Brown School of Hospitality in Toronto, Canada, Chef Marinier joined Marriott in 1996 at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Atlanta, Georgia, with stops along the way at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel and the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel before making his way to The Dearborn Inn in 2005. In addition, he has enhanced his culinary career on the high seas, with Holland America Lines. Chef Marinier is an active member of Les Toques Blanches and Euro Toques.
Paulette Czajka
Director of Event Management
As Director of Event Management for The Dearborn Inn, Paulette Czajka is responsible for ensuring the high quality of events and meetings that is the hallmark of this historic hotel. Her duties include event planning, event operations and event technology. Paulette joined The Dearborn Inn as a server in the Ten Eyck Tavern in 1989 and quickly realized that hospitality and The Dearborn Inn were her true passions. Paulette has also held positions at the hotel as a banquet server and as the Social Catering Manager. She is also a certified wedding planner and has managed over 250 weddings at The Dearborn Inn. Through the years, Paulette has developed ongoing relationships with many of the local guests of The Dearborn Inn. |
